Bio: Officer of the Water Island Civic Association; Member of the Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas; Founder of the Ojai Valley (California) Montessori School. I practiced law for over 20 years in California and was a sole practitioner for seven.

Education: Barnard College/Columbia University and University of Houston (B.A. 1965). Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, CA (J.D., cum laude, 1982).  Mediation instruction, including American Arbitration Association’s Mediator Workshop (Dec. 2005).

Milestones: I was born in Paterson, New Jersey and educated in New York City, Houston, Texas and Los Angeles, California. Among the places I have lived are Mount Vernon, New York; Galveston, Texas; Honolulu, Hawaii; Ventura, Ojai, Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Jose, California; Lugano, Switzerland; Boston, Massachusetts; and Water Island, St. Thomas. I am a family person with five children and eight grandchildren.
